Clarityx Family Chronicle  is a lot more  than  just  saving  the list  of  your  family members.  You can also keep images and documents  related  to a person,  create  and  save  the person's  biography,  attach info on different  events  the person have  taken  part  in,  make  a  picture  of  your  family  tree  using  the  great  variety  of  options.

All you need to start working with the program is to specify the folder where your database will be kept.  After that  you may start  filling  the person's list.

CFC allows storing a broad range of information on each person, including:
      ♦  Title, First Name, Second Name, Last Name, Suffix
      ♦  Date and Place of  Birth,
          Date and Place of  Death  (if the person isn't alive)
      ♦  Job Title, Profession, Occupation, Places of  Employment
      ♦  Main Photo of  the Person  (3x4 aspect ratio)
      ♦  Other Photos (i.e. person's photo album)  and  Other Files  (e.g. audio and video files)
      ♦  Biography  (there is a fully functional integrated editor  for entering biographies)
      ♦  List of  Events  that  the person took part in  with the in-depth information on each event
          (you can even store an event photo album)
      ♦  Address, Phone Numbers, E-mail(s)

In addition to storing information on persons  Clarityx Family Chronicle  lets you create relationship links between persons. There  are  two  main  link  types  supported  by  the program:  the  "Parent-Child"  link  and  the  "Husband-Wife"  link.
Other relationships, for instance,  "Uncle–Nephew"  or  "Mother-in-law – Daughter-in-law",  will be recognized automatically.

There are  two  ways  you  can  establish  a  link  between  two persons.  First,  the  new  person  can  be added  as  a  relative to  a  person  already  existing  in  the database.  Second,  both persons  to  be  linked  should  exist  in  the database,  so  you could   just  add  the  relationship  link   and  not  have  to  enter the  new  person.

CFC allows  creating, editing  and  storing  biography  for  every person  in  the  database.  It  has  a  very  powerful  integrated biography  editor  with a rich set  of  advanced  tools  for  editing biography  texts.  You  can  also use  any  other  editor  you  like, capable of  working  with  documents  in  the  *.html  format.

Besides,  there is a feature-rich  integrated  photo album viewer and  events  manager.

Clarityx Family Chronicle  provides tools  managing persons  on Persons List.   You can arrange  the list  in  the ascending or  descending  order,  apply  a  flexible filter,  find a person,  print out  the list.  You can also create groups of  persons  from main list  for managing them with more convenience.

Clarityx Family Chronicle   provides  handy  and  flexible  graphic  presentation  of  relationships  between  persons   in "tree"-like  form.   Such  "tree"  is  often referred  to  as  "genealogical tree"  or  "family tree".

The program  can create  three  types of  trees  for  every  person:   Ascending – showing one's ancestors;   Descending – showing one's offsprings;  and  Combined – showing both ancestors and descendants of  the selected person.

To build a tree, select  the person on Persons List and then click on the appropriate button or choose the appropriate context menu item.

When  viewing  one's  tree  you  can:
      ♦  Edit  person's  data
      ♦  Add  and  delete  tree  members'  relatives
      ♦  Get  the most  suitable  tree configuration  by  changing
          the size,  appearance  and  position  of  the  figures
      ♦  Store  and  open  the  unlimited  number  of  tree
          configurations  for  every  person
      ♦  Save tree as image and print it out
      ♦  View and edit selected person's biography and photos

Clarityx  Family Chronicle   features  the  technology  that  can  be  called  a  "live tree",   because  all  changes  you've  done in  the  Tree View  mode  are  instantly  reflected  on  the  list  of  persons  in  the  Database View  mode.
